The 10 original, fun, and educational songs will help kids (and adults) learn about bats and perhaps be less afraid of them. The majority of teachers or students cannot name West Texas' 50 most common birds, wildflowers, invertebrates, or the 20 most common mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. The majority of either teachers or students in any school in this region cannot name the Indian tribes that lived in their bioregion, nor can they list the 20 most important early European explorers and early settlers that shaped their bioregion’s history. Healthy Water, Healthy People
This is an innovative water quality education program sponsored by Project WET and the Hach Scientific Foundation.  It offers hands-on activity guides, testing kits, training, and much more.  For anyone interested in learning and teaching about contemporary water quality education topics.  

The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes seeks nominations for its 2007 awards. The Barron Prize honors young people ages 8 to 18 who have shown leadership and courage in public service to people and our planet. Each year, ten national winners each receive $2,000 to support their service work or higher education. Half of each year's winners are chosen for their work to protect the environment.
