Arbor Trees For Schools

Arbor Day is Friday, April 29^th….. how are you planning to celebrate this Nebraska-born holiday with your class? Would you like to give a tree seedling to each of your students?

The Central Platte NRD staff will deliver Ponderosa Pine seedlings for your classroom at no cost.  Ponderosa pines are native to Nebraska and can withstand prolonged drought. Seedling plugs will be delivered in plastic bags with 10 seedlings per bag.

We’ll also provide planting instructions printed on individual bags for students to take their tree home. To order seedlings email Marcia at: lee@cpnrd.org or call (308) 385-6282 with:
