Central Platte NRD Board to Award Bid for Current Office Property

The Central Platte Natural Resources District (CPNRD) Board of Directors will review sealed bids and consider the Building Committee’s recommendation on awarding the sale of its current office, shop facilities, and grounds during its regular board meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 215 N. Kaufman Avenue in Grand Island. The meeting is open to the public.

CPNRD is accepting sealed bids for the property through 2:30 p.m. on June 18, 2026. The property will be sold “AS IS” to the highest qualified bidder and conveyed by warranty deed. CPNRD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to request additional information from bidders prior to awarding the sale. The District will retain possession of the property until closing on August 14, 2026.  Staff are expected to relocate in late July. Additional information is available at www.cpnrd.org. 2026/2027 Budget
The Budget Committee will review the proposed budget of expenditures and present their recommendation to the Board. The draft budget will be presented at a public hearing on July 23, 2026, immediately prior to the regular July board meeting. The property tax levy for FY 2026/2027 will be set during the August board meeting to be held on September 3, 2026.
