NOTICE TO BIDDERS OF INTENT TO SELL REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA
Notice is hereby given that the Central Platte Natural Resources District (“CPNRD”), by a unanimous vote of its board of directors, has directed a sale of the real property generally located at 215 N. Kaufman Ave., Grand Island, Nebraska 68803, and legally described as: Lot 9, Commonwealth Business Park, Third Subdivision to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska.
The sale shall be conducted by sealed bids, which shall be submitted to and received by Central Platte NRD, 215 Kaufman Ave., Grand Island, NE, 68803, no later than June 18, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. Any bid received after such date and time shall not be considered. Any bid submitted in any other manner shall not be considered. Bids shall be opened on June 18, 2026 but will not be awarded until approved by majority vote of the Board of Directors at their meeting on June 25, 2026.
Terms and conditions of sale are as follows: the CPNRD intends to sell the Property to the highest bidder. The Property is being sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” without warranty of any kind as to the condition of improvements thereon, and subject to any and all restrictions and encumbrances of record. Conveyance shall be by warranty deed. CPNRD will consider all reasonable bids, but reserves the right to reject any and all bids and reserves the right to request additional information from any bidder prior to the award of any bid. The sale shall be confirmed by a vote of CPNRD’s Board of Directors and identify the purchaser and terms of sale.
CPNRD shall remain in possession of the real property until the confirmation and closing of the sale, which shall occur on August 14, 2026. Full payment shall be due in cash or other guaranteed or certified funds at the time of closing of sale. Buyer shall be responsible for any title insurance (if requested, and with the understanding that conveyance shall be by warranty deed), filing/recording fees, closing agent fees, survey, and loan/lender/appraisal fees that may be incurred incidental to the purchase and its closing.
